When the summer heat finally gets into full swing, you’ll be sun-kissed and glowing and the need for foundation (usually) goes out the window. But what we ladies always need, in my humble opinion, is a bit of color on the lips, so this year for the summer I will be going with hot pinks, oranges and red shades from MAC. a must-have for any makeup bag.

Rebel – An everyday, slightly flirty lip that’s great for work, a Sunday brunch date, wherever. Soft enough to balance out a nighttime smoky eye, Rebel is a mauvey, purpley, satin color that has a bit of sheerness to it, but is very buildable. It’ll leave your lips feeling moisturized and soft.

Girl About Town — This is one of the best things to have ever happened to a girl!  From their Amplified Crème collection, you’ll get many compliments on this bright blue-fuschia that is surprisingly flattering for all Clutchettes.

Impassioned — A much sexier color from the bunch, this pretty bright pink hue is very creamy, rich and long lasting color that works very well for medium to fair skin beauties. Perfect for a sweet date on a summery evening.

Chili — Pigment rich with intense color pay-off, Chili is straight-up: a no-shine, all matte finish. Headed to Miami? Make a statement by swiping on some black mascara and a bit of this spicy experience and go paint the town.

Touch – This is part of MAC’s Lustre line which is demi-sheer with a wet-look lustre finish. Besides helping lips stay soft and hydrated, this full-coverage brown-nude color is great for a day of picnicking or at the beach when you really don’t want to be concerned about re-applying.
